2006 Mazda 5 Sport Custom
This vehicle was designed to have a full multi-media entertainment system without sacrificing any passenger room. We started our project by completely gutting the interior and insulating it with eDead sound deadener from the roof to the floor. Next we custom fit a fiberglass enclosure in the spare well for our 2 Digital Designs 10” subs which are powered by a roof mounted Zapco DC1100.1 amplifier. The 2 Zapco DC350.2 amps were mounted over the inside of the rear windows and on top of the 9” monitors that face outward. Each 2 channel amp controls a pair of Zapco component 6.5” speakers and all of the amps were mounted on top of clear plexi-glass that are lit with blue LED. We replaced the factory head unit with an Eclipse AVN 6600 double din head unit with DVD player, navigation and touch screen controls. Additionally you will also find an Eclipse 8 disc CD changer, back up camera, 15” SAAV overhead monitor w/ DVD player and game port with a switch activated inverter. For those cold winters and hot summers we have added a remote starter. For performance we added a cold air intake system and a stainless steel exhaust system. For handling we added an upper strut tie bar and upgraded the factory wheels to black 18” Diamo Karat’s with Michelin Sport performance tires. Also included are the original 17” rims with a set of Bridgestone Blizzak tires that have only been used for two seasons. On the exterior we replaced the factory mirrors with mirrors that have turn signal indicators built into them, added a blue under car LED light kit and tinted the windows (20%/35% smoke). The best part of this is vehicle is that it is a certified pre-owned vehicle with a full bumper to bumper warranty in effect until 02/18/11 or 62,000 miles and a power train warranty in effect until 02/18/14 or 100,000 miles. In addition to the long list of custom upgrades on this vehicle you will also find a nice array of factory options which include ABS, Dual airbags both front and side, a/c, pw, pl, pm, cc, tilt, fold flat center seats with under seat storage, 50/50 split folding rear seats, rear window defroster and wiper, interval wipers, keyless entry and factory fog lights. We also have along list of dealer options which include, carpet floor mats, rubber floor mats, cargo mat, rear bumper guard, rear roof spoiler, front splash guards and the upgraded rear view mirror with compass, thermostat and 3 garage door openers.
