1963 Corvette 327 Convertible

This beautiful C2 was just repainted in its original color of Riverside Red and looks stunning. This is a completely numbers matching car with the exception of the heads and the stereo. The 300 hp 327 ci engine was rebuilt about 5 years and 5000 miles ago and drives out perfectly. With 119,572 original miles this car has been well preserved and retains its original black vinyl interior. This is also a two top car with power windows, power steering and power brakes. 1963 is the most significant Corvette model year as it had an aggressiveness that also featured improved aerodynamics. Hide-away headlights made their Corvette debut and contributed to the sleek advanced styling of the “New” Sting Ray. The chassis also saw significant changes which included a new independent rear suspension which made a huge difference in both performance and ride quality. Like the body and the chassis, the interior was all new for 1963 and it was also a radical change. The inside of the 63 had a design based on an airplane cockpit that offered a distinct separation between the driver and the passenger that was both good looking and easy to use. The C2 also featured full instrumentation, a telescoping steering wheel, a clock on the center of the dashboard, ventilation (heater) controls and a radio. The knock off wheels were just wrapped with new American Classic white wall tires and look stunning. You will find this to be a well above average car that is in need of nothing. At a price that is just above the NADA low value you will also find that this car is priced for a quick sale so don’t wait to call us as it might be too late!
