The 1965 Galaxie consisted of a new wider design and vertical stacked headlights which were a big change from the 1964 models. The 65 Galaxie introduced a new age of full size Ford’s with fresh new looks, performance and luxury to match. This model was adorned with the 390ci V8 which produces a generous 300hp. The engine fires right up, runs great and shifts effortlessly with its Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed automatic transmission. This car also has other desirable options such as the power convertible top, power steering, remote mirrors, wire wheel covers, padded dash and visors. It was repainted back in 1992 in its original color of Springtime Yellow, the white top was redone at the same time and she still retains her original Chestnut interior as well as the matching boot for the top.
