1966 Chevrolet Impala

SOLD! 1966 Chevy Impala 2 door hardtop. This car has about 1000 miles on a fresh restore that was finished in the spring of 2005. The strong running 327 V8 has been recently rebuilt and is married to a freshly rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission with 2200 shift kit and all controlled by a new B&M Pro ratchet shifter that shifts firm yet smooth. The engine compartment has been dressed and shined and a new Fel-Pro top-end gasket kit was installed. We replaced the sluggish 2 bbl. carb with a beefy Edelbrock 4 bbl. 650 CFM carburetor and installed an Edelbrock Performer Intake. Complimented nicely with a chrome Edelbrock Air Cleaner and Edelbrock Valve Covers. The ignition was upgraded from points to an HEI Ignition and the old alternator was upgraded to a newer style with built in voltage regulator. The metallic orange paint with chrome bumpers and chrome moldings show well. It has a new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and some new lines. The interior including the trunk is white tuck-n-roll with webs stitched in the upholstery complimented by black fabric on the floors and black tuck-n-roll upholstery along the lower door panels. The white on black looks impressive. A new stereo has just been installed. Panasonic CQ 3301U CD Player XM ready head unit, MTX 6x9s, Digital Designs 8 inch sub-woofer, 750 watt Lightning Audio amp, all connected by Stinger Electronics professional grade installation hardware. We also added power door locks that are operated by the new alarm systems remote key fob. This Impala drives straight as an arrow on new 215/70 R14 tires with 67 Chevy rims that show very well. This is a unique show car that gets attention everywhere it goes.
