1967 Chevelle SS 396
PRICE REDUCED!!! This frame off restored numbers matching SS 396 (325 hp) Chevelle underwent a concourse level restoration that was completed in 2005 by Sterling Restorations, Inc. Since it’s completion it has won many accolades which include 5 AACA (Antique Auto Club of America) Preservation Awards, the AACA Senior Grand National Award (Jeffersonville, IN 2005), 1st place at the Concourse d'Elegance (Geneva, IL 2007), Chevy Vettefest Gold Spinner Concourse Award (Chicago, IL 2006), 1st in Class at the Masterpiece Style and Speed Showcase (Milwaukee, WI 2005 & 2006) and Outstanding Award at the Super Chevy Show (Joliet, IL 2007). The original L35 396 ci / 325 hp (T0208EK) and the 2 speed Powerglide transmission (T7T21N) were both completely rebuilt during the restoration and have a total of 170 miles on them as does the car. The only thing not original to the car is the fact that the original 3.07 12 bolt rear end (CX0210B) has been converted from an open rear end to a closed rear end with posi traction. The body is laser straight and gleams with the show quality Marina Blue (FF) paint. The Blue (738-B) interior is in perfect shape and perfectly compliments the Marina Blue paint both of which are original colors to the car. With the exception of the posi this car is 100% correct and truly worthy of being displayed at any museum. If you are looking for a numbers matching Chevelle that has been restored to a concourse level you will be hard pressed to find one that has more prominence!
