1968 Mercury Cougar

SOLD! 1968 Mercury Cougar. This vintage 68 Cougar 2 door hardtop has a strong running numbers matching 302 V8 that is shifted smoothly by the original Select Shift Merc-O-Matic transmission. It has cardinal red paint with an ivory oxford roof. It has factory power steering and power disc brakes. This classic Cougar has been spiced up recently with a new gas tank, new shocks, new tires and a new exhaust which was converted to dual exhaust and accented nicely with some long chrome tips. A new battery, new alternator and new regulator help keep the electrical juices flowing properly. Mechanically and electrically this car is solid and a great runner that wants to get up and go! The interior has new carpet and new seat belts with the rest of the original interior still in good shape. The paint is not show quality and the body does show some filler but to find a 68 Cougar in this good of shape is rare.
