1972 El Camino SS 350
This sweet El Camino is a true SS with a crate motor that was installed in 2005 and currently has about 15,000 miles on it. The engine has a Weiand high rise intake connected to an Edelbrock 4bbl carb with electric choke and is estimated to produce about 300hp. The engine is outfitted with a very streetable cam and sounds just plain nasty ripping through its newer Flowmaster exhaust system. Its original T350 tranny was rebuilt when the engine was added and shifts crisply with the aid of a performance shift kit and a 2,000 rpm stall converter. The rear end is a 10 bolt posi with 3:36 gears that enables you to cruise all day long at freeway speeds. It was repainted in 1997 in its original color of Silver Mist Metallic. The paint still shows great from a distance but is of driver quality. The interior was redone at the same time the engine was replaced and still shows like new in its original color of Black Elk. This was originally an A/C car but the A/C components are no longer present. Overall we would classify this as an average value car but we have priced it as a low value car in response to the overall state of our economy. At an asking price $9,000 below the N.A.D.A. average value this truck is not going to last long so do not wait to call because it might be too late!
