1977 L-48 Corvette
The 1977 Corvette arrived with only modest modifications. Inside, the console was redesigned to accept a larger array of Delco audio decks, its instruments were restyled for greater legibility and climate controls were simplified. This car is equipped with the optional leather-trimmed sport steering wheel with tilt and telescoping adjustments as well as a "Smart Switch" steering-column stalk that combines the headlight dimmer and wiper/washer functions with the turn signals. Leather upholstery was now standard as well as power steering and brakes. The Stingray nameplate was replaced by the traditional crossed-flags insignia. This car was repainted in its original color of white and it now has custom blue stripes that cover the car from head to toe. The blue interior now has white seats with custom blue stripes dyed into the back rest. The Rally rims were also painted to match the stripes and are complimented by the original trim rings and center caps. This car is equipped with a date code correct L-48 350ci V8 that starts right up every time and runs perfectly. The Turbo 350 tranny shifts effortlessly having no problem delivering power to the 12 bolt rear end. This beauty is also equipped with factory a/c that blows ice cold when it is too hot to remove the T-Tops. She has been serviced regularly, has newer B.F. Goodrich Radial TA tires, a newer battery, exhaust and brakes. Everything, including the headlights works properly except the horn, clock and fan speed control. The previous owner is fanatical about servicing his cars which is why I would not hesitate to drive this beauty anywhere. If you are in the market for solid driver quality C 3 you will find this car is a bargain. With this being an above average quality car it is sure not to last long with an asking price that is less than the N.A.D.A. low value.
