1995 Yamaha V-Max 600 LE (VX600E)

Yamaha had been in the business for over 30 years when it released its first 600 in 1994 which was produced until 2003. It was such a well put together machine that it was left essentially unchanged through 2003. All V-Max models featured a three cylinder 593cc two-stroke engine with enough power to easily pull the front skis off the ground under full throttle. The performance was aided with three Mikuni TM31 carbs, a digital capacitive discharge ignition, a variable ratio transmission, a performance exhaust, a YVXC clutch and a liquid cooling system. Other features include hydraulic ventilated disc brakes with an adjustable lever, an independent trailing-arm suspension system came installed in the front and a Proaction Plus suspension system with 11.5 inches of travel came standard in the rear. This sled currently has 9,155 miles. During the latter portion of last winter (at 8,980 miles) it received a new track, 3 new wheels, all new wheel bearings, a new stater and a new magneto. We just put in a brand new battery at 9,150 miles and it runs great. The pull start does not work as it needs a new recoil and it also could use a new seat cover and grips. Other than that this thing is ready to run!
