1996 Corvette Convertible
The Corvette a is legendary high-performance car that appeals to sport car enthusiasts who want state of the art technology, stylish appearance and heart pounding performance. This particular example is equipped with a 300hp 5.7 liter LT-1 V8 capable of doing 0–60 in 5.1 seconds (13.7 second quarter mile) and yet still efficient enough to get 26 mpg on the freeway. Only 482 convertibles were made in Polo Green Metallic making this a rare find. It comes with all of the standard features you would expect from a high end sport car and is factory optioned with dual power sport seats, the performance handling package and the upgraded Bose stereo system. Within the last 3,000 miles it was upgraded with a Magnaflow performance cat back stainless steel exhaust system that sounds just plain nasty when you get into the throttle. You will also find a hitch mounted storage rack that will enable you to carrying a nice load on those longer road trips. The current owner, who we represent on consignment, intended to keep this car forever and spent $10,000 servicing the car in August of 2011. Included in that total you will find the exhaust system, new Michelin tires, a new suspension, a new timing belt, a new steering assembly, a new water pump, a new idler pulley, a new alternator, a complete tune up, all new fluids and filters as well as hoses, belts, and gaskets. In fact the only thing we could find wrong with this car is the fact that the door for the cup holder does not close properly and the center armrest does not latch as it should. Other than that the car is in perfect mechanical condition. The car currently has 92,566 miles but should easily have another 100,000 miles in it before any repairs are needed. Considering that $10,000 worth of service was just done on this car it is an absolute steal at the price we are asking.
